1. Direct Acquisition of Apartments, Houses, Buildings
FAA acts as a consultant to private clients interested in acquiring real estate properties spanning from single apartment units to buildings.
The NYC real estate market offers many opportunities for direct acquisitions of apartments, townhouses or entire buildings. However, this market requires a high level of knowledge of regulation, fiscal and legal issues and of market participants which might make the acquisition of property in New York City as a daunting task for the foreign investor.
FAA has helped many individual investors in Europe find the right property and assist them through out the process: from identifying the asset to negotiating with brokers, from assisting with the legal process to supporting the buyer with the approval process from Condos or Co-Ops, from closing to managing the property.

2. Pool and Fund Opportunities
Currently Fifth Avenue Advisors, LLC is in the process of raising multi million dollars commitments from European multifamily offices, banks and private investors for the NYC Real Estate Investment Opportunity Fund (NYCREOF).
NYCREOF will operate using the same structure of a private equity firm investing in New York City residential real estate with a time horizon of 5 to 10 years.
In July 2008, FAA entered into a joint venture with Sator Sgr – an asset management firm based in London and Rome and founded by Matteo Arpe, former CEO of Capitalia Group and a former executive at Lehman Brothers in London.
Sator has set up a tax efficient investment initiative that is well suited for European investors in NYCREOF. This initiative is called NYCREOI – New York Real Estate Opportunity Investment. European investors will be able to access NYCREOF by using Sator’s EU based platform. Sator will be the asset management of the investment vehicle and FAA will provide investment advisory and other local support services for all real estate assets.
